When arriving in the Joint Base Lewis-McChord area, the nearest major airport is the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport which is located about 27 miles from the base. Taxi and shuttle service is available from the airport. If arriving by car from the Sea-Tac airport, head southeast on Airport Expressway and keep right at fork to merge onto WA-518E, take exit onto I-5 south toward Tacoma/Portland. Stay on I-5 until you reach exit 125 for Bridgeport Way toward JBLM McChord Field. Turn left at the end of the exit onto Bridgeport Way and proceed about a quarter mile to the gate.
